Product Overview

The W91A stands out among RFID Handheld Readers with a distinctive ring-shaped design that enhances grip stability and operating comfort during animal identification work. The rounded structure fits naturally in the hand, making the device easy to carry and suitable for frequent use in farm and outdoor environments where mobility and ease of handling are essential.

Visual and Audible Feedback

The device integrates a 1.44-inch TFT display that presents tag numbers and device status information in a clear and readable format. Compared with smaller displays, the larger screen area improves visibility and allows operators to confirm reading results and operating states at a glance. An integrated buzzer provides audible feedback during successful tag recognition, supporting efficient operation without constant visual focus on the screen.

Storage and Data Collection

W91A is designed to support high-volume data collection. The built-in storage capacity allows up to 500 tag records to be saved directly on the device, enabling extended offline operation during large-scale animal inspections or identification sessions. This expanded memory capacity supports continuous scanning workflows without the need for immediate data transfer.

Connectivity and Range

For data communication, W91A offers multiple connection options. Tag data can be uploaded to a computer through a USB 2.0 connection, or transmitted in real time via wireless 2.4G or Bluetooth when supported. The wireless communication range reaches up to 80 meters for 2.4G connections and up to 20 meters for Bluetooth under accessible conditions, providing flexibility for different working layouts and distances.

Performance Standards

As a specialized device among LF RFID Readers, the W91A operates at 134.2KHz and supports EMID and FDX-B RFID tags compliant with ISO11784/85 standards. Tag recognition is completed in less than 100 milliseconds, supporting efficient identification even when processing animals continuously. Reading distance depends on tag type and performance, with glass tube tags readable beyond 8cm and 30mm animal ear tags readable at distances exceeding 20cm.

Power and Reliability

Powered by an 800mAh 3.7V lithium battery, W91A balances operating time with a lightweight design of 72g. The device operates reliably within a temperature range of -10°C to 50°C and supports storage temperatures down to -30°C. With its combination of ergonomic structure, expanded storage capacity, and flexible communication options, W91A provides a practical solution for animal identification tasks.

While W91A is tailored for livestock management, our expertise extends to security sectors, offering solutions like RFID Access Control Readers and Dual-interface Card Readers.
